A delightfully fragrant red wine from Portugal’s Douro Valley that evokes the special nature of the region in which it was born. Fashioned from hand harvested, organically grown local grape varieties including Tinta Barocca, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional, it offers a wealth of bright, juicy fruit hinting at plum, raspberry and blackberry. An aromatic “pot pourri” of a wine. Gentle tannins allied to good freshness ensure that the wine is eminently drinkable even in its youth, unlike many other more substantial Douro reds that take a year or two to open up.
