Description
Alsace is one of the great traditional wine regions of France, but has been slightly overlooked in the British market of late. It’s long overdue for a resurgence, given the quality and sheer drinkability of the wines made there. This Pinot Blanc (70%) and Auxerrois (30%) blend is a perfect example of what makes Alsatian wines amazing. It’s the ideal white to enjoy chilled on a hot summer day, but it stands up well to the winter cold as well. All in all, it’s a highly versatile wine that deserves its place in your wine cellar. The wine has brilliant flavours of summer orchard fruits, highly concentrated and easy for even novice palates to detect. The scent is light and floral, with refreshing acidity in the backbone. Its length is wonderfully long, making it a wine that you’ll enjoy over and over again.
