Description
For only the best aged Cognac, what could be better than a vintage named after France’s most famous Emperor? The aged liquor has a beautifully smooth, silky texture, with the rich flavor you’ve come to expect from the famous Cognac wines. The combination of Folle Blanche, Colombard, and Ugni Blanc grapes makes for a strong grape flavour, but with just enough floral notes to arouse your interest. The Pinard family has farmed 17 hectares of organic vineyards around the village of Foussignac near Jarnac since 1969. Ugni blanc, colombard and folle blanche are used. The former is the principal grape variety, whilst the tricky-to-grow folle blanche adds a lovely floral character.
