Il Palagio’s first venture into the Riserva category and the Sangiovese fruit was originally destined for the top estate wine “Sister Moon” but the overall quality of the 2018 vintage was so good they decided to make a Riserva to compliment the range. Dark berry fruits such as cherry, raspberry and blackberry. Spicy notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and ground black pepper delight the nose, followed by intense full-bodied balsamic notes on the palate. Aged in barrel for 14 months
